Thanked: 284Got the scales cleaned up. Used thin CA to wick down into the hairlines, sanded and used some Flitz. Who knew all that beauty was still under there!

I have a set of scales like that on a W&B that I need to get started on. Nice to know how good they COULD look. Keep up the good work.

Thanked: 284Well here's a workbench shot. I need to get the ends of the scales equal and probably polish up the collars and pins. But on second thought I just want to shave with it already!! It centers fairly well and the pins are nice and tight. I'll take it
Time to get it on the hones. I'll try to take some better pics when I get it honed and cleaned up. Thanks for looking and all the help!
