Wow Bob that's one crazy cut there. Thank goodness you didn't get into some tendons. Heal up my friend!

Oh yeah that's right - nerves too. Man it can happen fast.
I've been pretty fortunate so far, knock on wood. The only stitches I've had was in my lip when a guy hopped up on something punched my lights out

That's terrible...I hope it heals cleanly and there is no permanent damage.

As you point out, it's important to keep in mind how incredibly sharp these razor's are, and it just takes an instant to do potentially serious damage.

    Wish you the best....

That looks painful! I hope your recovery goes quickly! It is the worst when you don't know what happened and then the blood starts pouring out of somewhere. Well, you're gonna have an interesting set of fingerprints now, but don't feel alone my thumb looks like Tony Montana after I gouged it with a Bowie.

Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

You have my heartfelt sympathy and empathy. We have all done something similar and we can call it whatever we wish. Bottom line is $^#@*&^%$#@!!!!!!!! Let it heal and if you were on the East Coast I would recommend a Yuengling Lager every 15 minutes for the next 10 days. Don't forget the cigars.

    Take care................

I did not hit the "like" button because there is nothing that I like about this.
Thank you for sharing, we all can benefit from these "special lessons" - doubly so when the come from the best of us.

    To a smooth recovery then...
