Give it a shot! If you can get hold of some bone and have a few simple tools there's nothing holding you back! Just takes time and practice as with everything straight razor

Thanked: 0Very nice work! I have just gotten interested in straight razors and all of that, was looking for something related to bone, as perhaps I would blend my old hobby with the new one. been carving bone for about 5 years now though my work isn't straight razor related as of yet.

Love these scales.
Love the texture.
Love bone,
Want to get into it, any recommendation of what type of bone to use and how to obtain it.

Old thread, but replying so that I can look at and compare the scales at a later time.
