    Here are some bone scales I made for a Wad & Butcher. I got them as thin as ivory & they don't bend. You should be able to sand them more.

    Yeah thats about how thin they are.

    I found this thread over at B&B http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthr...th-bone-scales

    Seems like some CA glue mixed in with some bone dust might work to fill in some of the chips and that saw mark. We'll have to see how off the color is once i clean and sand.

    I have used dust & glue to fix holes also.
