Thanked: 10516 will you give you more time for clamping for sure. Key to acrylic is smooth joints on clear or transparent colors. There are some good instructions on you tube for gluing acrylic.
My first attempts were a disaster so don't worry if at first you don't succeed.

Hi, it's been a while I've been off the forum, I just posted a making of video, it's on the homepage.
BTW, I've been struggling a while before formulating the correct adhesive ...
I'll let you play, because there would be no fun

Hate to be the negative voice here but the one razor that came to me recently with broken scales was exactly the pattern on that web page op linked. It was extrememly easy to break at the joins.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

@onimaru55 : you hate what ?
Please would you be kind enough to tell us :
* what blade those broken scale were supposed to protect ?
* what was the actual condition of the blade when the razor came to you ?
* why you ended up with that particular razor ?
* what kind of conclusions you drew about the blade ?
