Finally! No more classes this year! Now I can spare some time to mess with razors again!
Made a second attempt repairing turtle scales. This time for a Swedish frameback by Erik Anton Berg. The problem was the same, cracked transversely at pivot pin.
This time, instead to glue a transparent plastic sheet inside all scale long as I did with the Rodgers, I had some meat more, so I decided to dig a recess inside the broken scale and install a metal insert to stabilize, sparing the power of the scales to add some color to the flexcoat resin.

My attempts to do this without leaving a scar were unfruitful, but the scales are on duty again.
