Hang on, I'm not doing all this sucking up for nothing!
Thanks guys.. Really happy to help save em if you have em..inlays that is.
Mikes shop is a smoking friendly environment, or will be once the outbuilding is built this summer. So I got the 'gars, if you have the air miles to come north for a getaway.. :)
Had to go into the plant today for a few hours, wanted to use the mill for my rubberset project, but alas, was needed for other repairs, so that one will have to wait.
I have almost a full weeks growth I need to mow down today. May try out this Estas if I get it honed. If not, there's a few I need to choose between before sending a package southbound...
:hmmm:
Super job B52. I was offline for quite awhile & got back on to see all this. You have made a very nice accomplishment. I want to make my old printer into a laser burner but I still have some homework to do unless of course I do it the way you did yours. You did it though & did it very well. Thank you for your hard work. I guess I'll keep on doing some research like I have been doing. You da man! :chapeau
I did it. Actually two things that I never thought would happen. First I finally won a chipped toe blade, pretty excited as it should be in my mail box in a few hours. That's why I have posted pictures of the second thing. I have sinned against the razors. I was polishing a bit to go for a more matte finish on my "Eight Brothers" razor and slipped a little. Broke off the blade at the toe  I guess if I'm going to make a shorty, I may as well do everything twice....
