Cartoons and kids cuddling,, awesome Saturday morning ritual I miss with mine as they have gotten older. Savour the time Andrew, it goes so quickly.
My oldest is performing a concert tonight at the local Caribbean club with her band. My youngest just got home on the red eye from BC in time for the show. He was off skiing and kayaking in the Rockies all week on his own earned dime!
So proud,, but I digress.

Thanks for the kind feedback on the latest projects, they were slow to inception, but turned out pretty well. Most were combinations of luck, ideas/inspiration from here, and a lot of patience.. Some donations from friends helped pin it all together.
I will definitely be offering to host another meet up this spring/summer and will have all my toys plugged in and working.

Bartering brushes for bolster blazing is a bitchin bribe bro!! :D

It already has gone by too fast Mike. My oldest starts school this year and every time I think about it I start getting nervous for her. I ask my wife, didn't she just start walking yesterday????

Sounds like your two kids where passed down some great talents of there own. Both performing and extreme sports can be highly stressful and take a lot of practice and skill. You should be proud.

And the next time you turn around you're going to exclaim loudly, "What happened? Now I'm a Grandfather!" The years go by very fast. It isn't till old age that you find you can slow things down a bit and attempt to figure out what happened.

My Dad was over last night and he was saying the same thing Richard. He said it was a lot of fun doing all the things my sister and I did, but it vanished so quickly.I think back too, and I had a lot of fun with my parents. I'm just now finding out how expensive kids can be. I have become a Dance Dad, and I can see myself attending a lot of recitals in the future. Those dang dresses cost a fortune, but she really enjoys it and that's all that matters.

Man you guys are making my feel old already.
My oldest is out on her own, has given me two crazyand fun grandchildren. And my youngest is about to begin a vocational school, to begin her life in the culinary arts.

Im only 47.... So slow down, talk like this is going to have me behind a walker, before I get my next razor done. [emoji4]

I never got married and have no kids that I know of.....heh heh. But that didn't stop me from patching my cousin's kids to my side. I figure let my cousins have the headaches and I'll have the fun. I just got three more last November, two baby girls and a boy. I can't wait till I can give these three squirts their first "wisser" rub.

Fit test and installed the inlay, just need to finish up the wedge fitment and turn to the blade.

Touches the wedge a bit at the toe preventing it from seating properly, but some more file work ahead as expected.
So how do you clean a gold washed blade that still has good wash on it? Haven't had one since my very first razor, and I took that wash off with polish before I realized it.
I have seen tape overlay protectors used but looking for other thoughts before I turn to the blade.

None that I know of B
I've always taped ,trimmed, and polished. Has worked with all so far.. Beware....if there's any rust under the gold, it will come up with the tape.
