The end of the blade looks like a square point but it has a very slight radius to it. It centers perfectly. Now all I need to do is hone it & test drive 'er.........

Yeah, everyone gets around to saving a butchered blade sooner or later!
Well, I finally after about a month was able to complete my FBU WADE AND BUTCHER. I was able to clean up the blade and get a bevel started. I fixed the horn scales and soaked them in neatsfoot oil for about two days. Then buffed them out. All I need to do is pin it and hone it.Attachment 232379 before
