Hi, First time user of the forum,I hope I'm posting in the proper place, the etching is amazing, I would love to find a blade with anything cycling related. Yesterday I purchased 2 SR second hand, I don't have very muck knowledge on the pieces,I am afraid of losing (sanding) the hallmarks, stamps and engraving off the blades, basically I don't know where to begin, the edges feel and looks to be in shave ready (from what I can tell) any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,Best of luck on your beauty and hope everything turns out well. Thank you in advance.

Iphones actually take good photos, enlarge and get close with good lighting and a lite background.

Clean with 000 steel wool and WD40, polish with some 1k wet and dry with a wine cork backer going easy over the etch.

That will give you a good idea of how much will come off and then make a decision on if you can keep the etch or live with some pitting.

What Brand are they? iPhones can get surprisingly good pictures.
