I have a skill band saw table top kind that I love.
With my belt sander I pulled the wheels and trued them that failed. I put a slight crown on the adjustable wheel no luck. Then tried a reverse crown with tape and it still would not track. So I pretty much have a disc sander now. But it was cheap and I got some good from it. I know better when I buy from them so it is what it isNothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...

Thanked: 0Question from the Rookie, Seems as though my razor begins sharp at the beginning of the shave, but gets dull after 20 or so strokes. I have been following the various techniques, but face still raw after the shave. We need another meet!!!

Im willing to go to a meet again but days off are not often. As far as your razor going dull after such a little amount of time, id say it wasnt very sharp to start with. But im new and dont know much. Start a new thread and see what you get for info.

Thanked: 0Great idea, except, I'm not sure how to begin a new thread. Thanks for a reply.
And you are probably right that the razors are not sharp enough. I'm working on that, but do not seem to be getting anywhere.

Using the coping saw is probably going to increase your feel for what you're doing. Later on, when you acquire power tools, you will have a much better appreciation for the process. Just a theory.

I agree. But I've been eyeing a scroll saw. I have to tell myself not yet. Got to pay off all the stuff I've bought lately. Then the scroll saw and grinder!
