Thanked: 0Wade & Butcher regrind candidate?
A bit unsure about when regrinding is possible/advisable. Would this W&B be a viable candidate? Any recommendations on where to send it if so? I got it for basically nothing, can anything be done with it?

Have you got a head on shot, of the toe end? That does look like it has been honed and then some.
I have hand sanded blades with similar hone ware and they turned out just fine.
Sand out the hone ware lines and when finished hone with a few layers of tape.

there are a couple of members that do regrinds here. Karlej and Undream (Brad Maggard of Maggards razors) do a good job.

I think it may be a faux-frameback without the spine, guys. Certainly has a nice 'stop' at the bottom of the spine?

Thanked: 2284Which explains why the hone wear is so flat at the moment. Garsh, it looks like there's quite a bit of hone wear flowing up into the tang.....On both sides. IMO, and if it were mine, I'm not sure I'd spend any time with this one.
