Thanked: 23Japanese razor storage?
How are Japanese razors normally stored? I'm thinking some sort of wood case to prevent damage to the delicate edge. One reason I've only made folding straight razors so far is that you simply fold them to protect the edge. However, I'm thinking of trying one, but don't want to spend all that time and damage the edge by poor storage.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Magnets & edge up for me.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 23Thanks, gives me a couple of ideas. I was thinking of laying it flat with a small case for possible travel. Not sure what I'll come up with though.
