I can't think of a greater way to do honour to a mentor than to make sure their tools and materials are put to good use. It's really wonderful you were able to step in and give them life. Cheers!

Much to my dismay Doc has passed on. The Covid-19 virus was the last straw for him. He will no longer suffer from the ravages of time.
