    Thumbs up What Great Scales

    Guys...

I just had an opportunity to put on a set of Nenad's clear scales on a Wunderedge. They are faultless! What a pleasure it was to work with them. I would not hesitate to put his scales on anything I have.

    Good job, Nenad!

NICE SCALES! And you're correct: Plexiglass is a fancy way of saying acrylic. It's really Polymethyl Methacralate, which also goes by trade names Lucite, Perspex, etc.

Any luck with locating navy/indigo translucent plexiglass? I'm pretty sure I'll be getting some more razors and I'm hoping at least one nice blade will be matched to bad scales

That WonderBlade Bill is speaking of is mine, it belonged to a pair of celluloid Duck scales that went south on me. The scales are a pair Nenad sent me in a satin finish. They really do look nice, and should have a pretty good surface for gripping with the slight texture. I figured the Duck blade was a natural match for them. Thanks to Bill for doing the honors, and I'm anxious to see it! Nenad, you could start a side business with these plexi beauties. Heavens knows there are enough nice old blades around with jacked up scales.... If Bill doesn't get a pic up, I'll be sure to do so when the razor gets home.

And now I want a price for 6 sets, Nenad, before you get too busy making them for everyone else.

yeah, those are really cool. I would be interested in a pair or two when I get a nice blade to put in it.
