Semichrome and Flitz are a different color but seem to be the same performance wise. The strongest one I've found is Wenol in the red tube. I haven't had an opportunity to try Maas but I will get a tube if and when I run across it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Power tools? no!

Light polish like "MAAS", "Flitz" or "Happich Simulchrome"
applied with a "Qtip" or with a pinch of tissue paper is commonly
done. Caution: gold wash will be rubbed away by polishes.

Do occasionally apply a light protective coat of something like mineral oil
or Pure Camellia Oil including the pivot and tail to prevent rust.
