    -Don't turn off tumbler and leave the razors in there. Many polishing compounds may have a suspension that will aid in rust....the stuff you are trying to clean up.

    -don't think in terms of minutes or hours when tumbling, think of 1/2 days.

    -leave tumbler on floor (they can walk off a workbench) and don't hamper the air flow or you will shorten the life of tumbler.

    -heavy wedges and light singing hollows don't mix too well sometimes...

    -a little pre-cleaning helps...
