    Wow, it always amazes me how generous everybody is on srp. I would definitely take one of you up in your offer, but I already drilled the holes to 1/8, which fits the sleeve of the aluminum rivets I'm using for this set of scales. However, I will for sure pm one of you when I start my next restore. Here's a picture of the rivets I'm using and the blade:

    Hopefully you can get an idea of where I'm going with these rivets. I'm going to put on of the domed ends on each side of the scales and then feed the aluminum rod through. I'll cut the ball end off and then tap each side to fit.
