Thanked: 2591I use a painters drop cloth behind the buffer and it takes all the greaseles that flies off during application. It is easy to clean and store if you need to.

Thanked: 1936I have two wheels for each "grit" of compound. I store them seperate from the other grits in gallon ziploc bags. As Dylan mentioned, load them up before you quit for the day. If you are working on a bit of razors you can load one wheel while working on the other wheel. No matter...it's not a "clean" hobby when it comes to restoring razors. About the cleanest & easiest method of cleaning up a blade is the tumbler method. Just drop in the blade, come back in a day or two...
