    Well, that should not be a problem as I don't have a fast belt.... This restore will be mostly hand tools and elbow grease!

    Also the Razor is marked "American Knife Co. Plymouth Hollow Conn". That puts it between 1850 and 1875 as the town changed it's name in 1875. It could have been used in the American Civil War! Cool huh?

    Jeff, the blade looks great! How many hours of sanding do you figure it took you to arrive at this point?

    Perhaps 4 or 5 hours total.

    Very good work. I am in the middle of a couple of restores, but I'm not sure if I'd have the patience to get it to a mirror like that.

    Looking good. I would just check the width of the pivot fingers between your fingers, it looks like it might be just a tad wide, although it might just be the angle the picture is taken.

    BTW nice work on the blade, mirror finish is great.

    Until the previous scratches were gone.

    If you go too fast you will know. There will be heaver scratches that will not come out.
