Hint:

Place the bevel of the razor on the top of your thumbnail, not like a TNT, on the side so the flat of the bevel is riding on the top of your thumbnail.. Apply very little pressure an you will see a slight bulge appear... Lightly move the razor over the thumbnail watching that bulge as it rides along, when it hits the spot in question you will know instantly if there is a crack
