Sorry but the blue duck made me think of this:
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

A blue duck ain't such a bad thing! I think we need a picture! Once, I left a yellow celluloid blade in some diluted simple green. I forgot it was soaking.......I called it Jade Celluloid!

Is oxyclean safe for celluloid?

I would assume anything is unsafe for celluloid unless the manufacturer says otherwise.
Oxidative damage is a bad thing for celluloid. A product with 'oxy' in it is a concern IMHO.
They don't look so bad.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I was going to offer 50 cents to see a picture but you beat me to it. PM me and I will still send it!
I agree with Sharptonn. (Don't tell him that!) Take it as a life lesson. You like it as a shaver so keep it that way and you can make up a story about how it was with Shackleton and it was so cold it turned blue.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
