I thought it sounded wrong to but it seems to be what you got.
A normal grinding speed is like 5000 ft/min, so yours is lower but still a little fast i think.

I'm all confused right now, give the numbers to someone else and see what they come up with.

I know this store. It is still open for business. It's a knife shop for all kinds of knives.

The shop is indeed in Leuven, which is the proper name for the city. Louvain is the French name, which makes sense given that not too long ago, the language spoken by businesses and upper middle class was French instead of Dutch.

I bought my very first razor there. An Otto Busch weltmeister. 75 or 100 euro IIRC.
These days, they don't sell razors under their own brand anymore. My guess is that, like so many knife shops when straight razors were still popular, they ordered their blades from a company in Germany or France, stamped with the shop's information. Currently they sell TI and German razors (Dovo and some NOS brands).

It's been years since I visited that shop. They also sell brushes, DEs, and general shaving paraphernalia. It's one of those places that only survive because they have existed for ages, and don't have to make big investments in the shop itself and the advertizing. It's one of those old places that everybody knows, and it is also located at a prime location.

If you had to start a store like that today, from scratch, you'd have a snowball's chance in hell of making it.

Regrind work looks good my friend, nice and even. Hows it holding the edge...as I am sure you know, that's the true test of a regrind.

With nothing but stropping on leather, the razor has shaved my face, a pair of legs, a bikini line, and my face again. I deem this a success!

Bruno, Would you know if the stamp on the back (visible on page 2 of this thread) is a SUY mark, or perhaps an indicatior of the actual manufacture?

That is a good question. I honestly don't know. I am fairly certain that they didn't manufacture them themselves.
Suy has no email address and no website. That shop is still living decades in the past
I can give him a call next week though.
