    It took an hour and a half, but as far as I can tell, I think I fixed it. Looks ok at 10x. Used light circles on the 1k, seemed to make the best progress doing sets of 10.

    But damn I felt like I was chasing it for a while there. Time for a flor de cana.

    I lost the "+", it is now about 15/16 where the crack was.

    I am surprised. I would have guessed closer to 1/8" narrower.

    I'm still learning but I think the grain lines indicate some buffing, maybe the person I bought it from tourqued it a bit. Or, I may have caused it while setting the bevel, as this was maybe the 20th razor I've honed.
