If you have the orig broken scales,Why not just restore the razor to the way it was orig made and intended to be?

Yes i know, but I gave them money to help them out that I was expecting them to pay back (per our deal) but they wouldn't buy it back. I made my house down payment though on what i sold it for.
As much as i love them, House > Hot Rod.

The scales are shattered. I'm going to listen to GSSixgun and make just a replacement set of basic wood scales for it.

are the drawing to scale? I printed them out and they all seem about 1/2" shorter than all the razors I have here.

@ Gssixgun: You said that most scales start at about 1/8" before sanding then go thinner? I have some cocobolo that I am working on a couple sets with now and I had cut them out 3/16 then finish sanded down to 1/8". Will this work, or do I need to get them thinner?

I do not know, I don't have the razor in my hand to feel the balance, or to see the relation to the steel..

IME Unless it is a damn big heavy tang, they need to go thinner that is the best I can do my friend

They look pretty darn close to scale when I printed them. Did you set your printer to "original" size or is it set to "fit to page"?
