I'm gonna wait to see what goes......

I have a complete set of Naniwa SS, Naniwa Chosera and Shaptons. I have experimented with using every one in progression on thousands of razors as well as using select grits in a progression from bevel setting to finish. Add to that every one of my naturals following the Naniwa SS 12K, Chosera 10K and Shapton 16. Add all the different pastes and sprays following finishing stones, different strops and.............

    This will be very interestink..........

    Have fun,

    Lynn

    Ooh. Sorry.
You juuuuust missed the minimum qualifications required to participate in the experiment.

    Better luck next time.
    AndrewK and artp47 like this.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I have the 8k and 12k SS but the 1, 3 and 5 are the chocera big brothers.

Don't know whether that qualifies. Would love to give it a go.

Neil, I don't know if Lynn is old enough to remember that show ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Dang it Glen, why am I always worried when you start theorizing without complete release of information?

I was sitting here with my SSs when I saw this and now I am worried that I am going to have to learn a new way to use them. Man and I just started getting good edges off of other stones and I get to relearn my first ones. HUH! I guess I am more excited than worried.

Hmm.. been thinking of purchasing the Naniwa's now this gives me an even bigger reason to replace the King 1k 6k/Chinese finisher I have been using.
