Vintage Old Horn Handle G. Butler & Co. Sheffield Cavendish Blade Straight Razor:
From the listing:
"This is Very Rare Vintage Old Horn Handle G. Butler & Co. Sheffield Cavendish Blade Straight Razor In Good Condition. This Vintage Old Horn Handle G. Butler & Co. Sheffield Cavendish Blade Straight Razor is Ready to be Part Of your Collection."
Yes, that's right, this beauty is ready to part of your collection for only $59! Better be quick before someone else snaps it up!
Seriously. Why do sellers make such patently false statements? No one, not even the newest of noobs, would be convinced that this razor is in good condition. smhLast edited by Hanlon; 07-11-2018 at 07:00 PM.

"Ready to be part of your collection".
Maybe part of your junk collection. I saw one last night & the owner was at least honest enough to say it was cracked & pitted but why do they pay money to list a POS when they know no one will buy it?

Thanked: 315I'm really tempted sometimes to send sellers a PM saying there is a mistake in their description or tell them they must have used the wrong pictures because the razor in their listing is a rusted/busted/broken piece of junk.

I wrote a seller once & I told him the blade was cracked because it was in the same location on both sides & if he were to look at it with a loupe, he would see it. His reply was he did look at it through a loupe & to f*ck off so some know it & just want to get one over on a sucker. Others are appreciative.

I'm a Radhead in recovery.. lol haven't the funds.
But a while back I received stark contrast between replies from sellers when I very politely attempted to bring to their attention "inconsistencies or inaccuracies"..
Their are some good and bad people making honest and dishonest mistakes on there.
That's why I always try to maintain a gentlemans composure.

Thanked: 315I've noticed sellers that I or other members have contacted will add notes at bottom.
"Notch in blade may have be a chip, but I'm not sure."
Please send me their name. I like to be aware of any sellers that are being dishonest. That is like the seller that appeared to be shilling. SRP member found one person had been bidding on his items a lot over several months driving up the prices and then retracted them.
Agreed. Being hostile or disrespectful will not increase the chances of having a positive interaction someone.
I also find having limited funds prevents me from spending a lot on razors. I may have to offer a RAD service where guys send me their extra money so they can't spend it.- Joshua

My lady wants to sell things on the fleabay.
I said nope.
She said "wait but you have sold on there!"
I said "yes, but typically, the men buying shave equipment just so happen to be gentlemen more often than not".
Oh snap!!!
