The seller says the edge is ragged and broken and should not be handled by children. I thought that is was a forgone conclusion that regardless of condition you shouldn't allow children to handle them. It's right up there with writing this is not a toy on plastic bags.

Found this on ebay. Judging by the wrappers, may very well once have been a box o' NOS Revisors.

    ...not anymore.

There is a single bid so far. I suspect an optimist is hoping there is one good one buried in there somewhere. Given the way the ones on top look, I think he's going to lose that gamble.

Well you would get a few decent sets of scales probably assuming that they aren't celluloid and rotting.

Excellent point! Of course the scales would be worth far more than the current single bid.

my thought too, but I suspect the scales are the likely culprit fir the condition of the blades.

I assumed they were newer than that but upon looking at them again, I suspect your suspicion is correct. Maybe the basket is intact?

Bold faced lie, or complete ignorance. I have contacted seller to inform them of their mistake, but suspect the former is the case.
