Yea, aside from the obvious aspect of calling it a collectible to get more money, that seller cannot see the usefulness of such an archaic device.

I'm sure the voice in their head said "Why the would someone shave with that?! 20 seconds witha bic in the shower, and your done! These are only collectibles now..."

All this strikes me as ironic, because they are likely twice my age.

“item meant for a priceless collection only! if you hate antiques and want to destroy the value, by all means hone/strop it.”

Note to myself: Stop stropping or honing razors, I'm destroying their value.

Seeing as they have a make an offer button if anyone did want it they could offer a more realistic price.

Nice try, but no thanks...I would imagine the asking price would buy about 289 more "Custom Straight Razor Knife Solingen Germany Rosewood Wood Exotic Inlay Gorgeous" at their actual cost...

BTW New Folks: These razors are not actually from Solingen, unless there's a town in Pakistan named Solingen.

Asking this much for a cell rot buff job is shameful. Could be that greed and ignorance are the primary players but it makes it now less shameful. At least the scales are OK.
