My TI arrived today. Alas, my pocket microscope has not arrived yet. I think I will give it a test shave or two before sending it off to be honed.

Shaved with my TI this morning for the first time. Thirty laps on linen and fifty on the leather. Three passes and a BBS shaving experience. This is a very nice shaving razor at an unbelievable price point. My hat is off to the OP. Thank You

Arrived today. Cleaned off the oil and inspected the edge. Beautiful! Topping hair out of the box. Going to give it a shave tomorrow AM after 20 on fabric and 80 Latigo.
Just like Christmas

Very nice. If anyone is finding the first shave less than adequate, not to worry. A good honing will make this razor sing. First shave with mine today went very well. Wonderful edge.

Oops. I meant bison outline.
I just finished my first shave with my new TI. It definitely will shave right out of the box. That being said the edge does not compare to the pro-honed edges I am accustomed to. I find the accompanying instructions saying to not strop for the first several shaves a bit odd. I didn't for the first shave but I pro ably will strop for shave number two.
