They're much better than the picture in the listing. I didn't pick one because of the weird heel design that TI decided to put on some razors. But the razors you guys are getting are not like that at all - they have nice rounded and flowing lines.

I need another razor as a hole in the head though, so all it good - I hardly get to use the dozen or so TIs I already have and this would've been basically giving yet another chance to the c135 to convince me it's worth having plus testing the current out-of-the-box edge

Not for nothing but even at $189 it's not a bad deal.

First shave with the TI was glorious. 3 passes with Cella classica followed by a little alum and Pinaud citrus musk. BBS shave and almost zero burn from the alum or after shave.
This razor was definitely shave ready as delivered. Probably could have got away with not stropping, but what else is there to do while the brush soaks up a little hot water. The edge is clean with very fine scratches under a 30x loupe, has a very slight start of a smile at the toe.
I couldn't be happier for the $110 I spent. Will have to watch these guys (lehmans.com) in the future for other deals.

Who doesn't need a good hole in the head?

I just finished my first shave with my new TI. It definitely will shave right out of the box. That being said the edge does not compare to the pro-honed edges I am accustomed to. I find the accompanying instructions saying to not strop for the first several shaves a bit odd. I didn't for the first shave but I pro ably will strop for shave number two.

Ill post a SOTD sometime this evening.
I will give you your original purchase price if your not happy. LOL.
Your only as good as your last hone job.

Picked mine up from the post office Saturday and had a very good shave this morning with it. May run it over my trans ark to get a bit more sharp from the factory edge. But out the box the edge does its duty. Thank you to the OP for making this deal known

I just finished shave #2. Prior to the shave I stropped 25 laps on the webbing, 100 laps on latigo. The edge was improved and the shave was much smoother than shave #1. After two passes there was still some stubble patches left on the neck and jaw that needed going over again with a dab of lather and water. I might shave with the TI a couple more times before either going to the barber hone or sending it off to one of our honemeisters.

I didn't hear about this until it was out of stock, but went ahead and ordered one at the sale price anyway. Just checked with their customer service department for an estimated ship date.

    July.

Ah, well. Good things come to those who wait.

Didn't see this until today. Now up to $229 for that one, out of stock. Have a '50s vintage Spartacus 6/8 and would very much like to get one of the C135s in a 6/8.
