I went to the Wanted To Buy and placed an ad that I wanted on buy one.
Entropy46 one here responded with this one.
He purchased it NOS and it had never been honed.
He honed it and only shaved with it once before selling it to me.
I've only shaved with it once.
So, it's 80ish years old and only two shaves.

I think there are too many folks out there with too much money than they know what to do with.

YES it would NEED a LOT of work but for the right price I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

I think the prices they go for with the shape they are in are a bit much....but if someone NEEDS it, they will pay whatever!
I've seen you do some magical work on the Ducks, what do you think that one needs aside from what you've posted about the bread knifing if I've read what your pic is suggesting properly...

One can only hazard a guess Phrank...

Of course it need the edge fixed.
Not that big a deal (hopefully no cracks)

Then it all depends on the rust/patina as some call it.

Hand sanding because I hear these blades are THIN.. again hope it is okay.

Definitely NEED to rescale (EBONY would look good I think)

If all went well then you would have something you could be proud of.
If all didn't...then it would at worse be a piece of trash at best a display piece.

This is all speculation anyway because who knows unless you have it in your hand.
Might not be worth the effort to even give it a try...
    Geezer and Phrank like this.

Thanks, I'm just reading in SRP about how to potentially hone a slight frown from a blade, and the frown on my face as well...

I'll leave magic razor repairs to the pro's like you...I just read bread knifing is a last resort type of thing...the more I read about honing and restoration, the more it's easy until you actually do it...who said that???
