Craziness, and to think I got a 9/8 W&B FBU from an eBay seller in Canada, who liked to polish his blades super shiny and use eccentric descriptions, for $175.00 BIN....glad I'm not hunting these beautiful beasts anymore, after all the different razors I've tried, for me, nothing comes close to the shave of a Sheffield big choppa.....

Thanked: 169Yes on my phone because I asked for a formal measurement. He had no scale photo in his photo pack.

Thanked: 169People can be crazy when it comes to big blades. I have had a few ppl offer me over 1k via pm or other channels for a rodgers mark restored for me. Weirdly, never for any of the other massive blades, just the rodgers.

^^I can see why it is your favorite! I can't believe the price went that high for that razor, to be it seems like a lot of money to spend on a razor that needs lots of work!

I have one too. Not that wide, but in good shape with fancy collars.....Where is that thing?

I rest my case.

$50.00 on a buy it now on the bay. The guy lived 15 minutes away so I met him at the Dunkin Donuts and I didn't have to pay shipping. Was his grandfathers. Had to hone a chip out and it went down from 12/8 to 10/8. It was a good shaver but too much of a good thing for me and I sold it cheap @ $500.00.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
