Thanked: 90Yeah and ebay is awful. Event though the seller was awful on communication regardless of the fact that I never got my item yet they ebay says I did. They will not let me leave feed back negative to the seller. They deleted it because they decided in his favor. He ignored me. That is not communication. I asked for help and this man laughed at me because he already has my money. I will make sure to put this up on the forums. Never buy from ClassicShop2012 I believe he is also banded from the forums due to spamming. This guy is no good. He sells the LS which I believe may be a knock off of Franks Shaving. Looks just like the FS only cheaper. I guess sometimes you learn the hard way. I am still trying the postal service though. Sounds like the guy I talked to two days ago got fired and the post office in my town is a mess, over worked and they said they had many problems like this recently. Apparently it fell into another mail mans delivery bin and she just delivered it to a similar # on a street that began with the same letter as mine. Now they can't find it. I understand it is not the sellers fault, but if the post office actually had tracking that stated where it was delivered Ebay would side with me. It is just the seller doesn't care about his customer. He knows what happened and will not respond.

Thanked: 433I feel your pain for sure, what a mess. I had something I sold get stuck on a conveyor belt some place for over a week and just kept looping. After I got hold of the postal inspectors they had someone go and physically find it. They might go door to door to try and find it for you.

Thanked: 90Well I just heard back from the postal person for that route and she stated that it was left at a different address than the post office said a few doors down from that address. Now the guy that lives there said he delivered it to the addresses wife. Wrong again. Never happened. My wife would like me to get my package or our money back. This post office is really messed up. Are they allowed to give out these peoples address to me? I find that to be odd and most likely against policy.

Sounds like a story that I got from the PO one time when what had really happened was that they had temporarily lost it. It showed up a couple of weeks later in perfect condition. Hope for the same for you.

You guys have brought back the harrowing memory of the time I posted a custom razor to Vegas, only for the package to arrive slit open and empty..
Lesson: Always send straights in a box

Thanked: 90Well this one worked out. Only because I am a jerk and don't give up. So after the mail lady finally called me because I yelled at her boss. It only took a week and a half and I think someone got fired. Not because of me I think that post office is having a lot of issues right now. Well when she called she gave me a different address from the one the post office gave me. A horse farm across the street from the other address. The man told her he had gotten a package and taken it to the house on the address and given it to the mans wife. Well it was not my wife or my package. I went to the address. Talked to the man. Now it got strange. Apparently the mail lady sends him wrong packages all the time. He said he had not gotten mine. What was it. When I told him and described it his face changed and he said I think we do have a problem. Apparently he collects shave brushes (what are the chances) and he gets them all the time in the mail from china. Well he also has a 11 year old disabled daughter who loves his shave brushes and he lets her get the mail and keep some of them. When he saw the brush his daughter had he thought it was strange, but he gets so many he just figured he forgot about it. It doesn't appear to be used I think his daughter just likes how soft they are. So I got it, but wasted many hours of my time and frustration and with zero help from the crappy seller who uses ebay to make himself look like a better seller than he is.
I am sorry I usually even if the seller is not good, but I get my product in the mail I give them a great rating. This seller took a week to ship. Then when I told him the problem replied that it was delivered and ignored all other communication. I was very nice and polite asking him for help. Then ebay finds in his favor when the post office tells me it was delivered to a different address and they can't find it. So I simply tried to use ebay like it should be used and gave the seller bad rating based on poor communication, not receiving my package and slow shipping. Well ebay deleted all my feedback saying they found in his favor so my ratings don't count. That is insane. All of this took about 5 seconds for them to do too. All based on tracking that only says it was delivered. Didn't matter if it was delivered to another planet. The tracking does not state the address it was delivered too. Apparently they don't really protect you at all. The amount of time I wasted if I was getting paid for would have cost 10 times what I paid for the product. I feel like I should get it for free just for that. I would not have gotten it back if it were not for the fact that I get obsessed and just couldn't give up till I had nothing left to go on. My wife makes fun of me, but I usually don't get screwed though I haven't met too many companies that don't try. I think most feel everyone will just give up and go away.
I am glad I got my product, but will never deal with this seller again. I am now a bit hesitant to deal with ebay again. I will though no other place to go for some things.

Thanked: 237Yup, this is why I'm no longer selling on ebay. Had a guy buy a razor. Did not look at the pictures or read the description. Takes forever to pay, so I message him. He said it wasn't the razor he thought it was, but admitted not reading the description and would take it anyway, after I offered to just relist it. So he leaves me a negative saying I falsely advertised it. Ebay takes his side and says they can't remove the negative. Seriously? You can buy something without asking any questions, looking at pictures, or reading a description and get away with leaving a negative?? Mind blown

Thanked: 90No the seller should get negative feed back. It clearly states shipping time. He took well past the date it should have shipped to ship it. Then it clearly states communication he only replied once with absolutely no real communication other than I don't care. I should be allowed to state that his communication and shipping time sucks regardless of the post office issue. Sorry JOB15 but you are wrong on this one and so is Ebay. By not allowing me and others to give proper ratings they allow slow and lazy sellers who do not care about the buyer to not have the proper information to choose wisely when purchasing. He had 100% even though he had two bad reviews. Which means he had a lot in order to balance those out. So how many others were deleted in his favor that I had no idea about when making my purchase. The good ones only did what I usually do over look the crap service just because your item finally got to you and you never thought it would. It should not be like that.
In the end had I not done all the work I would have lost my money and not received the product. No other business runs like this. If I don't get something from Amazon they give back my money. They do the leg work. That goes for other companies I have bought from. In the end it sucks either way, but a buyer should not be responsible till the product is in there hands. It is his responsibility to get that product to me. Not mine to get it from him. I gave him my money apparently in good faith misplaced. Not to mention buying via Paypal makes it difficult too. If I use my credit card to buy something and it doesn't arrive. All I have to do is call them and they give back my money and do all the work.
