Thanked: 0Got a response back... corrected the name of the seller by the way.
If I send it back he will refund the money... or trade it for a different one.
Im hesitant to do that.
He mentioned that he has 70 razors left I asked for a price on 10 (group buy) 270 each.

Thanked: 25Group Buy
A group buy of the Barbas Duras would be great. I want to reserve my spot right now and for brown scales.
I would try to get the group buy for less than $250 though.

Prices for the #13 seem to be all over the map. I don't see a pattern when looking at the completed ebay listings. It may be something as simple as two bidders setting high snipes. Just pick your price around $150 and set a snipe, sooner or later, you will get one. I think they are legimitate $150 razors personally.
What does concern me is I see the blade width for the #13 listed anywhere between 7/8ths and 6/8ths. Mine are 13/16ths so perhaps the sellers are just being in the ballpark, but I expect exact information.

My initial post aside, I was finally able to pick up all the Fillys I wanted in the price range I wanted. But - price is relative with Fillys it seems. One week its $270 for a #13 and $380 for a #14 - the next batch from Argentina and Spain then go for $170 and $240 respectively. As someone mentioned earlier on, just be patient and you'll get your Filly for a good price. If you really just have to have one NOW, there are a few folks that are honorable and have great Fillys that they can send quickly. It's just a matter of how much and how long you want to wait.
As an aside, out of curiosity I bought a#14 Palmera just to see how it compared with Filarmonica 14 since they appeared to be pretty much the same thing. Well they're the same from my perspective. There may be some subtle or long term difference but the one I got was NOS, keened up just like a Filly, and shaved very, very smoothly - for about half the cost of the #14 Filly. I still love my Fillys but there's options out there!
