It looks like on U.S. ebay #10s are going for about the equivalent of 30 EUR. And that's for NOS stock. There's a big difference in price between the #14 and #10. Now maybe #10s are going for a lot more than 30 EUR in your area, I don't know. I just didn't want to see you buy a bunch of #10s thinking you were going to sell them at #14 prices. And BTW, don't buy all the razors in Spain. Leave me at least a couple. I'm going to be over there in November.

If it is possible to contact the major holders of the Fillie NOS supply has anyone here explored a group buy?

The Argentinian seller isn't selling on the side anymore... realized what a gold mine they were sitting on I suppose. They were selling on a spanish website in June for 160 Euros, now 235 Euros (same seller).

What did I think was going to happen? Well probably that someone with a Filly with an interesting scale color or design might PM me to see if I'm interested in buying it. Telling everyone that I managed to work something out with sellers was simply a way to let people know that I've found a source for what I'm seeking.
I can certainly appreciate the concerns that you express Bill - but you're coming out of left field, and honestly, that was a seriously accusatory post. ..and I thought I was cynical! I'd intended upon PM'ing this response to you but since you saw it necessary to suggest impropriety publicly then I guess I need to respond publicly as well.
I started this post as a way to find a few more Fillys with scales in colors I don't have already. Looking at 7 black scaled Fillys seems a waste. There won't be any Filly's of mine going up for sale here or anyplace else. Now that I know what type of blade works best on me, what I buy now is for my face only. Your warning is unwarranted and honestly somewhat insulting. I gotta say you may want to explore other ways to express unfounded suspicions, warnings, or whatever it is that you're doing. There's no cause for something like that to be posted especially since the concept you lay out go against my ethics. If there are some that have tried something along those lines then take the issue up with them. To suggest something like that based upon someone that's simply looking for those blades and not selling them is.. well, it's difficult to express while maintaining some level of propriety. In short, you insulted the hell out of me brother!
I sure hope I'm misunderstanding you, but if not, then that was a seriously antagonistic post. What prompted you to suggest something like that anyway? If you have an issue with something, as a moderator I'd think it would be more appropriate to privately PM the person about your concerns. Again, I sure hope I misunderstand and if so, I apologize for this - but if not, please think about how that read to someone that's not intending anything at all even remotely similar to what you're saying. Had you simply PM'ed me about it I'd have not only told you there's no need for concern, but probably made you laugh some. Now I'm irritated and you're being put on the spot to some extent.

The #10 is barely a straight razor...
I've been in Spain over the years and haven't found any great deals. I have some Spanish friends and they say that it's difficult to find Filly's there too. Forget about the "gold rush", there isn't piles of Filly's laying on the streets
They are probably well stored, away from the collectors eyes (and hands) and in front of a desk with a computer log on to eBay..

Leon, you got that right. I was looking all over Barcelona for a #13 or #14 this summer.

Thanked: 2591Hm prices seem to vary way too much, yesterday the black scales #14 went for 186 or so, nowhere near the price you saw it go a few weeks back. May be the bling level was different?
