Vendor Problem
OK, Guys, I need some advice. I won a few razors from a Vendor overseas about 8 days ago. I paid him right away. It was for several razors, multiple sales, totaling over 500.00 USD. I heard from him right after the sale, and he told me he would ship them out Registered Int'l mail. I said, fine. Now, it's going on 9 days, and I haven't heard SH*T. I'm getting a tad concerned. Well, at least I paid with Paypal, so I am protected. How long would you wait before contacting Paypal. I not even sure how long Paypal will make me wait. The vendor does not return my repeated attempts to contact him which is BS and bad business. Maybe he's tied up, but who goes that long without checking email, especially if your a vendor....?

Thanked: 13249The last stuff I sent and received form across the pond took almost 2 weeks...
South America is even worse as are parts of Canada up to 22 days so far...
Heck Australia only took 1 week the last two times

Int'l speed varies greatly. A sale to Finland took 4 days, Spain took a week, S. America always takes two weeks at least. YMMV.
I think paypal requires a month to go by before you can open a claim like that, but read the literature, don't take my word for it. I just recently won a despute from an ebay buy MONTHS ago and the seller has yet to reply to me. Patience is key. YMMV.

Thanked: 199You don't have to wait a month to open a ticket on paypal. If you are concerned, open the ticket. And tell them exactly what's going on.
Opening the ticket just gives the seller a chance to respond basically.
If more time goes by and nothing, escalate the ticket and I think after 10 days or something the seller makes no response, they will refund your money.
If it were me (and I've done it before) I'd say open the ticket and give them a chance to reply. You can always drop the claim later if need be.

Absolutely, This guy is not getting good feedback either unless he comes up with a partial refund, and tells me he was in the Hospital or something like that. He has 100% so, I'm sure he won't want to loose it. Heck, Maybe his computer is broke? That's happened to me before.

Thanked: 199Some people just really deserve to have selling rights removed from them on ebay...it's sad. People just don't give a crap about their reputations anymore for the most part, it's all about money.

If your dealing with overseas shipping especially first class or registered you have to give two weeks at the minimum. If you've waited 9 days and start complaining your not being fair to him. I've ordered plenty of stuff from Europe and depending on the country 10 days is the least I've waited. Sometimes way longer.
