I wasn't looking to buy the Filly, came across it while searching for different styles that appealed to me and putting them into the "watch list" to get an idea of prices that they are selling for and cross referencing them with listed brands here in the beginners guide, so as to stay away from the cheapo and garbage brands.

Well, that Filly #14 went for $513 and it looks like the Filly #13 is going to be close to $250.
Now, not to give disrespect to anyone's purchasing decisions (and God knows I've overpaid for quite a few pieces), but it does seem like most if not all of the people bidding on these two razors are either brand new to eBay or have very few transactions. Does that mean that these are new SR shavers who are looking to buy the "ultimate" razor? Or maybe just people who don't buy much stuff on eBay? I don't know. And I would also admit that I'm a bit jealous, as I'd like to try an EPBD at some point, but spending five large on a razor like this isn't in my budget now, I'm afraid. (Of course, I could just sell some of those Tosukes, one of my rescaled W&B's, some restored brushes . . . . Arrrrghhhh!)
Anyway, congrats to whoever purchased this nice razor, and I hope you'll share your impressions of the shave here. (And if you don't like the razor, consider selling it -- at a slight discount -- to me!)
