From what I see, it has uneven hone wear, the bevel looks uneven along the edge, and maybe it just the angle of the picture, but the width of the blade is larger at the toe than it is at the heal. Are any these dealbreakers? For me, I would pass. JMO.

I'm not wrong in thinking this razor is only good for taking the inlays off and trying to re-use them am I? Could the blade be saved if the offending scales were removed?

I quote the seller "The blade is damaged but is still EXTREMELY sharp." Too funny given of much of the blade is missing (I took the pic from eBay). What are you going to with it? Regrind to an eyebrow shaper?

In my limited experience I would avoid that like the plague. Inlays yes , blade looks cell rotten. If it is, it is worth "0" .

You didn't buy this did you ? ouch !

Here is another one I would be afraid of. It looks like it has been cleaned up some but MAY have rot.

I certainly didn't buy it! I watched it because I actually only want a set of those inlays! I wasn't going to pay that much for them though!

agreed. I'm also on my phone and cannot clearly see the crack. I think I know where it is since I know one is there.

The phone seems to be good to add an item to a watch list for later review or for following up on an item already reviewed.

The seller just messaged me, keeping the blade, getting a refund, and I'm eating the shipping cost
It's such a shame, it was polishing up so mint!
    Thanks,

Could be worse Eric. I bought a razor and it had a crack in it. What makes the story worse is the fact that i had the razor in my hand before i bought it and my wife pointed out the crack when i got it home.
