Default Another Type of E-bay/Paypal Scam

Somewhat new to this forum but getting more involved and joining the members in the passion of Straight Blade Shaving.
So when I see things like this and a whole thread dedicated to e-bay I thought I would share something I came across about how difficult life is with e-bay and paypal when the buyer places a claim...

Let the bidding wars begin: linky

The seller is not misrepresenting this item in any way, but why is anyone even trying to sell it? Maybe you want to pay $5 for some washers?

I bet if I bid on it my friend that won the first 1 above would magically appear and outbid me. I am not feeling lucky enough to test out this theory. But if anybody does let me know would ya ?

Sure hope nobody from this forum pops up and is offended by my post here but I am more than willing to learn why I am wrong about my assumptions here.
I saw this one and hoped somebody here contacted the guy to at least make sure he knew he was selling junk... Now that I know he understands that I think even less of the fact that he thinks he can get 52 bucks for it...

One mans junk, another mans treasure. As for that G & F pictured above, that is an amazing example of cell rot. Even to the point of self immolation!

I was thinking it probably had a Camel cigarette laid across it at some point. LOL

Is it me (it could totally be me) but does it have excessive hone wear? Anything you can see that I don't?

I am no expert but I don't believe that razor came from the factory with the toe radius-ed.

Looks like someone repaired a crack.

Might still be a great shaver.
    YMMV
    It just keeps getting better

Thank you mainaman. Will the fact that it was fixed degrade the shaving experience?
