    Spikes/square points are fine as long as you remember to pay careful attention to what is going on at that end of the blade. Trust me on that!!

    It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
    This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

    Sorry but I really don't want to hazard a guess at that as I personally find it really hard to judge from photos. I *suspect* you're in the ballpark with that estimate though.

    It doesn't tell. However if you compare the height of the blade to the scales, I am afraid it is a 5/8 or 11/16.

    Yes! Thank you both for the quick info on it. I was the only bidder, and think it was a pretty good deal... Although that was my first ebay razor purchase, and I was pretty nervous.
