It depends on how deep the dye has struck & how much you sand.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 4Arrived today. Pictures to come shortly. Looks pretty nice should be able to clean up. There is a small chip in the bottom of the scales. Possibly could sand it smooth.

Thanked: 4Well here it is... pretty good condition... there is a little chip in the scales at the bottom that you might be able to see in one of the pictures... it should be able to be sanded and blended in.... the blade seems pretty decent just some pitting. I think it should clean up very well and excited to bring it back to life! I think its near a wedge but i didnt take a picture of that angle... let me know what you think. BTW these were quick iphone pictures...

Hi mvacca7,
I am also waiting for a similar Wosti from an ebay purchase. I paid considerably more and do not have pretty scales like yours, so you have done well. The listing describes the scales as dyed cow bone?
Waiting is the hard part, but I am sure it will be worth while! I am told that the EBRO make excellent shavers.

Thanked: 884You can round out that chip in the toe with no problems. I had a Reynolds with a bum toe like that
and it turned out good.
Just take your time.
