It should work on your droid's normal browser, it seems to be a good enough device...plan b is alternate browsers!

On the actual topic at hand:

I think it all depends on the individual, like most have already said. Some are new and are looking for classifieds that they can trust, some are looking for certain models or anything that catches their eye, some want to collect all that they can find....and then some look on eBay for gems to fix up and work on to later put on SRP classifieds to help add to what's there in terms of trusted blades.
Some may just want something brand new, while others may be looking for something affordable to get them started.

I think the main important thing is that the classifieds are monitored (correct? more or less?) for quality control so that members have a place to do their personal transactions somewhere that they can trust

"Flooded" classifieds can only be a good thing for us buyers. I probably spend $1000 a week (in my mind) on there. And while the really high-end customs, $450 NOS Fili's, and the multi-thousand 7-day sets are slow to move, I see a LOT of great razors moving through there, often at great prices, by guys who have just gotten into a bind financially, want to free up funds for another purchase, just want to thin the herd, or what have you. I trust them, and have gotten some great deals there (most of my small collection, in fact). In fact, I don't know that I've ever heard of anyone getting truly burned or ripped off there. I doubt it would be tolerated around here.

As others have said, just put your stuff up and see what happens. Like I tell my son and fishing partner, "You'll catch more fish if you actually put your fly (lure, razor-same principle) in the water." Good luck.

everything ive bought off the classifieds was cheaper and better quality then i would of got on the bay , and if it was a few bucks more then anywhere else i bought it from here anyway cause i know that it is described as best as possible and chances are im not gonna get screwed by something i didnt notice in the pic like i would on the bay ..

as far as selling i remember waiting to be able to post and i totally agree on that rule , and after i was able i listed 3 razors and all were gone within 24hrs , 1 within and hour !!

like others have posted im picky now cause i got my buy just to buy out of my system ( now im doing it with coti's .. ) so unless it really catches my eye im not gonna buy .... but i wouldnt be afraid to post a razor cause i thought it might not sell ... you never know and it only takes one person to want it and its gone like the wind !!!

No, that is not exactly correct. SRP forum, moderators, administrators are not responsible for sales or the outcome. The post count and membership time in requirements are there to guard against drive by sellers, or people who only join to make a buck, without giving back to the forum in useful participation.

The classifieds, formerly the BST (buy, sell, trade) was started to give gentlemen a place to move some of their extra items of kit that they had outgrown, gotten tired of. It was never intended to be an internet storefront as some members, in the past had tried to misuse it.

So with the requirements for participation completed, it is assumed that a gentlemen will fulfill their part of a bargain but SRP does not guarantee they will. In the rare case where someone has gotten stuck, paypal is one resource for getting money back, and the transaction, with all relevant communications , can be reported to the moderators.

If the moderator team agrees to look into it, depending on the circumstances of each individual case, after hearing both sides of the story, if the moderators decide the seller committed fraud, or isn't being a 'gentleman', the miscreant is permanently banned. That is about all SRP can do in these rare cases.

Oh relax mr Razorbarber38!!! Honestly I think you're reading into things a little too much. 99.9% of the guys on here are genuine, stand up guys. With that said I've had my issues certain people and NONE of them have held a grudge and neither have I. Please don't get a bad taste in your mouth based on a few comments that might not have been sent or received as intended!!!

Ask away with your questions and we'll all do our best to share our, sometimes limited, sometimes vast, knowledge with you!

Don't worry Brooksie..I'm plenty relaxed. And I know the guys are genuine cause of done business with a couple of them. Anywho I'm not the only one who has asked ? and been ridiculed or felt like they will be burned for it. I've always been taught that there's no such thing as a stupid ? but asking one on here can really make ya think twice about doing it. Sometimes words come out a little different than what was meant and people will take it the wrong way. Oh well...

    Default Classifieds flooded?!!

No more money in the razor budget for now lol.

As far as selling, glen is right, I always post here and let the listing go quite a while before posting elsewhere. I hate paying ebay so much for selling something the fees to list are almost nothing now, but the fees for selling are getting higher... It all requires patience. There aren't too many things on here that go completely unsold.
