My two best shavers, both used/vintage, were $26 and $20. The second of the two I got by pulling at random from a box. So!
Keep your pivot dry!

My favorite is my Spanish American USMC blade. I don't have a "best" shaver. I have 4 blades in my rotation, each with a different metal, grind, and from a different time period. They all shave amazing, different, but amazing. I pick my razor based off my mood when I shave. Most days I seem to reach for my WWII USMC blade though. For that one I paid $48 for the razor and $100 for the restore and scale work.

An ivory carved pair I paid about 500$ for, restoration included, so I guess it would be 250$ the single razor.

I voted $200+.
I could have easily checked any of the other boxes.
"My favorite" is a darn fine shaver, but the reason I voted for it is because it was my first of that particular brand I bought, and as such will always hold a very special place in my collection.
I do have shavers that puts a smile on my face from $10 all the way up to insanityBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

My favorite razor is my Buddel custom and it cost me around $1300. It's Damascus with Wooly Mammoth ivory scales.
