I am wondering if you are regularly cutting yourself with square point razors (rather than rounded points).

Lucy you did not buy it got it in the mail today and there was a hair line crack in the blade the seller made believe he knew nothing about it I went back to the photo's of it and there was a blurr over the crack I opened a case and got a refund sending it back tomorrow that is my first and last ebay razor. I will only buy from REAL restoration shops from now on I would prefer to pay a premium and know what I am getting.

I wouldn't give up on eBay just yet, there are plenty of good sellers on there you just have to know what to look for. I have had several sellers who refunded the money and didn't even want the razor back even tho I offered to send them.

AHHHH but what a great feeling shaving with a straight.
Are you using a shavette, or a proper straight?

This morning while attempting to shave ATG, I watched myself slice into my neck. WOW did that ever hurt. not very much but enough to get my attention, still feeling dizzy from the blood loss. Oh well 1 day to heal then my next shave.

I didn't even attempt the ATG pass till I was in about 6 months...that is a dangerous maneuver, and I wouldn't even consider it until you had about 50 shaves under your belt...as you've found, it is very easy to cut yourself with that pass. Give yourself a few months before you try that one again IMO.
