Nothing shave-related this year I'm afraid.
She seems to think I have enough
What I did get though, if I may, was something she had really put her mind to.
She is a tailor by education, and makes me whatever I want when it comes to suits, shirts and whatnot.
This year though, she used the needed measurements of me and sent it off to someone else to have a new suit made for me.
For more than four months she has schemed behind my back, including doing two trips to London's Savile Row, to have my favorite tailor (Hardy Amies) in London make me a beautiful three piece suit!
I'm not often gobsmacked around my house, but this one had me drop my jaw for a second or two.
Wearing a suit like that makes you feel like a king, it is the best gift I have ever had.
Well, besides my first pair of Adidas World Cup soocer cleatsBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I got a mystery antique hone. Looking forward to working out what it is. I'm thinking maybe Escher but might be wishful thinking. Time to start gathering some facts about it before engaging the experts
Merry Christmas

Truefitt and Hill Grafton Balm and a Makita finish sander.
I am more thrilled with the reaction I received for what I gave. Some MdC soaps for the wife and daughter and an Edwin Jagger and some good cream for my bro and they all were very happy."The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas." -Linus Pauling

*EDIT*-- HARRYWALLY -- wonderful present/wonderful mother.
Nothing shaving related.
From my daughter,
A hand written, extremely thoughtful and sentimental letter that makes me feel like the most undeserving and lucky father alive.
A pair of well-needed work gloves(facilitated by my brother
A drawing that I will cherish
A song which she is working on for me(sweet 10yr old)
From brother,
a pair of well needed humidifiers for mine and daughter's rooms(which is well needed atm).
From God,
Jesus, God's own son.
