    I received a Georgetown G12 and a custom Badger brush. I put them both to great use yesterday morning, and was pleased with both. Also received a Keurig 2.0 coffee maker. Hopefully having this will cut down on my coffee bill at Starbucks so I have more money to buy shave stuff

    Not if Keurig has anything to say about it. The 2.0 requires you to use only their coffee cartridges. There is a hack though...

    The easy road is rarely rewarding.

    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Well Christmas Eve was spent with my oldest daughter and her family (what ever she was giving me hadn't shown up yet and she wouldn't spill the beans) . She won't allow me to give her or her husband anything but the kids got a joint gift of a DVD of Darby O' Gill and the Little people and each got a collection of sea shells that a friend had sent to me last year that he gathered from the ocean floor off of Puerto Rico. To put the size of those Conks in porportion those plastic bags are 6 1/2"'s long

    Then Christmas Day was spent with my youngest daughter and her family here at The Boars Nest for the day and presents; I gave her a gift card for the grocery store near her and her two kids got similar shells and the same DVD.

    Each pile was for a different grandchild.

    I was worried that in this technology driven society that simple sea shells wouldn't be a bid deal like it was when the world and I were young. Fortunatly the shells were a Big Hit!

    My son and his girlfriend gave me some new forks for The Boars Nest/Damn things sprout legs and run off! hehehe And they gave me this;

    I gave my son a vintage set of Friodur kitchen knives/they arrived late on the 24th so I hadn't had time to polish them up, fix the frowns, sharpen (notice I didn't say 'Hone') so the sellers picture will have to do! Oh! They are all nice and shiny with straight edges now (except the Chef knife which is supposed to have a smile to it)

    Best Presents of all was getting to spend time with them!

    A kid down where I work is getting a belated Christmas Present as he's coming over today to start down the road to an older but better way of shaving. I'm giving him a razor, a friend gave me a 2" SRD strop for him and he's bringing the Van Hagen beginner's brush, cup and soap kit. Really looking forward to it

    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
