Will they think you're a badass for using a straight? No
Will they think you're a crazy ass? Yes
Will they question your sexuality for knowing more about soap, brushes, colognes, and aftershaves than most women? Probably

I don't get this question. I don't recall ever inviting someone to watch me shave. It really just boils down to "me time." Besides cutting toe nails with an angle grinder now that's bad ass lol.

You're shaving with a knife with no type of safety mechanism. Inherently, it seems badass. If you feel it's badass, then that's all that matters. If you're only concerned with it looking badass, then maybe you're too young to shave

To me it's not something i will tell to my friend's but if they want to know what i use to shave i will gladely told them that i straight shave. It happen that a friend of mine and his wife stayed over for the night and in the morning he remarks that i was using a straight and he was really impress and we talked about it, did i feel badass about it no, i just told him that long time ago it was the way men shave and to my opinion it's the best way to shave when you learned the process.

I disagree, badass (or in more proper English bad arse) is the end result of a particularly spicy dinner.
I have a feeling that I may have said something like this in the other thread but I will say it here anyway, you can look/be cool doing almost anything if you can carry it off without being self conscious about it.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I don't tell anyone I shave with straight razors.
In my experience, people who set out to impress others usually end up being perceived as annoying dumbarses.Last edited by CZMark; 05-24-2015 at 01:25 PM.
