I have 3 that are 7/8+. My Filli 14 is the most comfortable of the 3, even if it is a tad awkward becaue of overall length. If you want to keep your nose and ears, it is kind.
Smarter than I look or, not as dumb as I look. Whichever you prefer.

I love big blades TBH!
My largest at the moment is a 15/16" Wacker but I've used some 8/8" and 9/8" blades in the past.
Birnando kindly lent me one of his Buddel blades a few years ago which I think was an 8/8", stunning shaver!
I've not used a 10/8" yet, one for the future perhaps haha!

Although I agree that the smaller blade are easier to save with and I certainly wouldn't have liked a 9/8 for my first shave. For me it is all about variety, something different. On Monday I may be in a 4/8 full hollow mood on Tuesday 9/ 8 wedge. I love to change things up different soap, brush and razor. All sizes and shapes loved.

I shaved with an 8/8 Palmera a few times. It wasn't cumbersome or anything, just in no way better than a 7/8. Which is really in no way better than a 6/8. My regular users are 9/16 to 7/8, with around 6/8 being the most comfortable in my hands.
I think most razors over 7/8 look like flattened and sharpened spoons rather than razors. They look large, clunky and a bit silly rather than bad-ass and awesome to me in most cases.

I have shaved with 2/8 up to 8/8.
I prefer a 6/8If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

I have a robert williams 7/8 that is a great shaver, but mostly I used 6/8. I now find 5/8 (which is all I originally used) too small.
Just call me Harold
