Thread: Houston/Dallas honers?

Hello, folks. I'm back from a week in Hot Springs. I have gone back thru the thread and have decided that what this group needs is a leader. The person who comes closest to first suggesting a meeting is DEwey. Being the obnoxious old fart that I am, I hereby nominate DEwey as the honorary "leader of the pack". DEwey, if you accept the challange, pick a time and a place for the first meeting. Tell us and we'll just have to see who shows up. And, according to the thread, Kriton must show up - - the first round is on him!!

It is a close call - Kriton used the term 'get together' whereas DEwey said 'to meet'. I invite Kriton to 'step up to the plate' if DEwey declines.

and, - - no offense is meant to anyone. My wife tells me that I can be a 'bit abrasive' at times - I have to be careful about what I say and how I say it.

Whereas Kriton joined the ranks of the SRP months before me, I hereby second HIS nomination as leader of the "DFW Hone 'n' Stroppers Club"! Though I would be happy to serve this distinguished group as Vice-Leader should there be an absence in visible commandeering from the aforementioned Mr. Kriton.

Seriously, I'm good the 25th or 1st and am happy to encourage all to attend!

I don't know how I feel about that...Only thing I am good at is a raging case of acquisition disorder...

OK, as I posted earlier, John Crowley is NOT available 25th - SO, lets say Saturday, September 1st, 2007 - at the steak house at I-20 and Matlock in Arlington, at 12:00 noon.

Hey Charlie,
I'll jump in and answer with a big "Heck Yeah, there's plenty of room for one and all!" That certainly goes for our Houstonian Brethren as well

BTW I'll be there on September 1st. I am wondering, is the destination still CJ's Brewhouse? It's the place we were talking about at Matlock and I20.
